Located in the heart of vibrant Intown Macon, Mount de Sales is the oldest and most organically diverse independent private school in Middle Georgia and serves students in grades 6-12. Admissions Events

Lunch Break Campus Tours – Tuesdays from 12-1pm

Our admissions team is available almost every Tuesday from 12-1pm to offer visitors a tour of campus during their lunch break. Lunch break campus tours will begin on September 5th and run throughout this admissions season. Schedule your tour today! Admissions will be in touch with available Tuesdays.

Shadow Days

What better way to explore MDS than to experience the school day for yourself? We will host shadow days during the upcoming school year. Contact admissions to learn more and schedule a day that works well for your student.

Open Houses

Open Houses are a great way to see campus. Admissions has several options for your family!

  • Friday, October 6th | 11am-2pm – Drop in for a campus tour between 11am and 2pm. This is event is during the school day and is a great way to experience MDS. We will offer tours of both the middle and upper schools.
  • Tuesday, December 12th | 4:30-5:45pm – Join us for our middle school open house with an invitation to our Christmas Concert to follow at 6pm. This event is not drop-in. Please plan to join us for the full 4:30-5:45pm timeframe. We will offer tours of our middle school building only.
  • Friday, March 15th | 11am-2pm – Drop in for a campus tour between 11am and 2pm. This is event is during the school day and is a great way to experience MDS. We will offer tours of both the middle and upper schools.

Each open house includes an opportunity to meet our admissions team, administration, current families, and current students as well as a campus tour. Come experience what it means to be a Cavalier. Save your spot today!

MDS Entrance Exam

All applicants are required to take the MDS Entrance Exam as a part of their application to MDS. This exam helps us gather more information about each applicant and scores are used to determine merit award recipients. Register for a test date here.

Our Saturday exams will all begin at 8:30am and will be held on the following dates:

  • Saturday, November 4th
  • Saturday, January 20th
  • Saturday, March 23rd
